Holyoke Public Library Now Located in the City Hall Auditorium!

While the historic building on Maple Street is restored and renovated, all library services are available at City Hall. In 18 to 24 months the city will have a new, state-of-the-art learning resource center for all ages. The library's archives remains open at HCC.

Film Night

Mike Rice premieres his new work, bliain an plassy,

he writes: "Here lies residue left from metal skeletons, orange rust and corroded celluloid. The life of a massive titan of industry bleeds out, oozes and squeezes itself through the fault lines left from yesterday's ice age".

Open Square Farmers' Market

Please join us for a season of fresh fruits, vegetables, flowers and more! The Open Square Farmers Market takes place on Saturdays between 9 am and 1pm in our main parking lot.

July & August Gallery Exhibition – Paint Flowers! Contemporary Floral Painting/ Nineteenth Century Roots

This summer, Holyoke based artist Nancy Howard will curate a show of watercolor and oil paintings in the Gallery. Included in the show will be two nineteenth century paintings from the Museum collection, with recent works of several Pioneer Valley artists, including Howard, Greg Stone, Caleb Colon, Martha Armstrong, and Katy Schneider.

Holyoke Community College will become an entirely smoke-free campus on August 13, 2012!

"The decision to establish a smoke-free campus reflects HCC's commitment to provide an accessible, safe and healthy environment in which to learn and work," Messner said in a message sent out today to the HCC community. "It is also a result of the efforts of HCC students and the staff members of the HCC Smoke-Free Committee, who urged us to join the hundreds of other colleges and universities that have already made ‘smoke-free' a reality."
