Holyoke Public Library Now Located in the City Hall Auditorium!

While the historic building on Maple Street is restored and renovated, all library services are available at City Hall. In 18 to 24 months the city will have a new, state-of-the-art learning resource center for all ages. The library's archives remains open at HCC.

Film Night

Mike Rice premieres his new work, bliain an plassy,

he writes: "Here lies residue left from metal skeletons, orange rust and corroded celluloid. The life of a massive titan of industry bleeds out, oozes and squeezes itself through the fault lines left from yesterday's ice age".

we will also be screening other works by Mike Rice, Jennifer Saparzadeh, and Meredith Lackey

Open Square Farmers' Market

Please join us for a season of fresh fruits, vegetables, flowers and more! The Open Square Farmers Market takes place on Saturdays between 9 am and 1pm in our main parking lot.

Save the Date! Opening weekend is May 11. Fall Festival is October 13. Keep posted...more information to come!

“In The Round” Second Annual Art at the Victory Theatre Opening Reception

Site Specific Installation Art by
Olivia Bernard, Torsten Zenas Burns, Taiga Ermansons, Kari Gatzke, Amy Johnquest, Chris Nelson, Joshua Vrysen, Christopher Willingham and Angela Zammarelli

Returning artists Taiga Ermansons, Amy Johnquest, Chris Nelson and Christopher Willingham are joined by Victory newcomers, Olivia Bernard, Torsten Zenas Burns, Kari Gatzke, Joshua Vrysen and Angela Zammarelli as they continue to embark on a unique opportunity to work in the soon to be renovated Victory Theatre. These nine artists respond to the rich history, intricate architecture and current condition of the building creating work for a space that will never be the same again. Also the Installations will be featured as part of PassportHolyoke Day on October 13, 2012 from 10:30am – 4:00pm ($1.00 wristbands).
