Holyoke League of Arts & Crafts

Organized in 1923, the Holyoke League of Arts is a nonprofit organization. As its goal, the League seeks to bring to the community a broader appreciation of artistic values. It also tries to stimulate and encourage artists and potential artists to promote their art work in the community. To accomplish its goals, the League holds monthly art lectures and art demonstrations by professional and prominent artists. The demonstrations are held on the last Friday of every month at the Canal Gallery, 380 Dwight Street, Holyoke, MA 01040. The League sponsors art exhibits, art workshops, art classes, and bus trips to art museums and galleries.
Members are notified of the League’s events by means of a newsletter, and monthly reminders of meetings & demonstrations prepared by volunteers.
